These are my holiday reads, which begins tomorrow YAY!! I know their both such different type of books. The Strictly Confidential is written by Roxy Jacenko who opened up her own PR business in Sydney when she was 24. The book is about a woman working her way up in the business world. I think it's based on events as she was starting up her company.

And the True Crime book, I am a sucker for true crime books especially about Australian crimes and serial killers. I'm fascinated about how their minds work. Sick I know.

I'm off on a road trip tomorrow. I've scheduled in a post for tomorrow with some wedding photos! Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Since I am in holiday mode I decided to buy more dresses today from work. Just can't help myself. One more day at work and I am a free woman for a week!!

This belt came with the dress. There were some other prints in this dress as well.... Might buy a few more :)

LOVE the brightness of this jacket. Waiting for it to get a little cooler so I can wear it. This would look great with my electric blue skinny jeans.

Got these sandals on sale for $10! So I didn't have to use my discounts, YAY!!

Once again I've gone AWOL. Excuse once again is work. I think I am getting promoted to manager in March as I'm care taker manager at the moment. So fingers crossed. Thought I'd do a quick catch up on what I've been up to with some photos.

Last month was one of best friends hens party. The picture above is with the one and only bride to be.

This dress I got from eBay which is from ASOS which I am planning to wear to my friends wedding. I love all the colours in this dress. It's a little tight around the bust area but I love it too much not to wear it. The night of my friends hens, I got asked by two of my friends if I was pregnant..... Made me paranoid all night after those comments. I think it's seeing my bust they assume I am pregnant... no just my boobs are getting fat! :)

Last night I did a MAJOR decluttering of my sewing room. Meaning I cleaned out every cupboard and shelve. Here's all the rubbish I had to throw out today. All this rubbish I have been holding onto for 5 plus years. I clearly haven't used it so it was time to part with it.

Here's what my sewing room looks like now. Simple really is much neater and makes your room look so much bigger.

Here's my Outfit from yesterday. I ended up boiling hot in these jeans yesterday. Weather forecast said raining yesterday so I got a little excited and put my jeans on. I found the pink wedges shoes at work last month. they were sitting on their lonesome on a shelf. We must of only got one pair in and they were my size! Their very comfortable indeed.

BUT I found these shoes this morning at work and HAD to get them. Retail price they're $39.95 but with my 50% $20! BARGAIN!

I'm going to wear them Saturday for a friends hens party. Was originally going to wear my new Tony Bianco ones but these go perfect with this dress.

I'm so excited for the weekend I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight or Friday night. Tomorrow is going to be the LONGEST day EVER!!!

This is what I wore today. Got this cute dress from work.... surprise surprise! My latest bargain from the Christmas sales were these Tony Bianco heels. Well not really a bargain to some but to me. They were $159.00 and I got them for $99. They are pretty comfortable, I am planning on wearing them as much as I can.

It feels like I have my blogging mojo back. I was a little obsessed with Tumblr for a while. Now my blog and Chictopia are what on my mind at the moment. Lets hope I don't lose interest any time soon.

Today I kept thinking it was Wednesday...but it's only Tuesday. Noooooooo! It's going to be a long week ahead for me. I'm dying for Friday 6pm to come around.

So.... I've kind of been AWOL for a while haven't I? The only excuse I have is work. Work is still so hectic and crazy, I cannot wait for it to eventually calm down. I won't bore you guys with more wedding and honeymoon photos. I actually have the professional photos but I'll post them up next week for you all.

I haven't done one in a long time, so here's an outfit post for you. I think I must of taken this last month some time before I went to work.

The Honeymoon is officially OVER!

Hi everyone! It's been almost a month since I have posted. Been back at work now for two weeks and the honeymoon is definitely OVER! Now it's almost Christmas. Has anyone finished their Christmas shopping? I haven't even started. I'm starting ours tomorrow, I'm really dreading facing the shops but better late then never.

Thought I'd share some photos from our honeymoon in Bali. We absolutely LOVED Bali. I prefer Bali more than Thailand, but i did only go to Patong in Phuket which is the most tourist place in Thailand. The Balinese people are so friendly, welcoming and speak very good English. We're hoping to go back next year but with some friends this time.

Hopefully I can do some outfit posts soon. THe weather has been miserable here. Feels like winter. Won't stop raining!

Well I finally did it. Finally tied the knot with my best friend on Saturday. I have two sneaky photos from the photographer. She was absolutely fun to work with and I felt so relaxed.

I think I was the earliest bride in history. I'm waiting till I can walk down the aisle with my Dad, my best friend and bridesmaid Stefanie and all my gorgeous nieces and nephew.

Five more sleeps till I am Mrs Renfrew!!

I picked up my wedding dress today. I am in LOVE!! The last few weeks I have been so happy. I felt like skipping when I was out shopping today, but I had refrain myself. I have never been this happy in my life. 2011 has definitely been my year and I do not want it to end!!

I think once the wedding is over I'll be back on track with my blog. This year has definitely been a huge one. I cannot wait for things to settle down, but also looking forward to the big day.

Hey everyone! Once again sorry for the lack of blogging.

A while ago I read on Smaggle Style blog that she once read:

'I once read somewhere that bloggers shouldn’t ever apologise for not blogging. I’m not apologising for not blogging but I feel that my loyal and dedicated readers deserve a little info on why. '

I just sometimes feels I have to apologise, but really we don't have to do we? To keep it short and sweet, work has been hectic, the manager of the store was away on annual leave so I had been running the place. Which I loved!!

But I've been in Thailand for my hens party since Monday. Life is pretty god dam sweet. Tomorrow will be four weeks till I get married too!! Eeek. Blogging should be back on track when I get back end of next week.

Hope your all well, I'll be catching up on blogs when I can.

As we started going out he got me into Hip Hop and I now love that type of genre. A friend asked me if we were only having hip hop played at our wedding. We're not that selfish! Finally got to pick up my new glasses today!! I got two pairs actually but the other pair are for my wedding day so I'll keep them as a surprise. These are my new Ray Bans. I got anti glare and my lenses thinned down as my lenses are pretty thick. Yep, four eyes is my name. I've only been wearing them since lunch time and I got a headache from them. My previous glasses I had for three years so obviously my prescription got changed slightly but not too much.

This afternoon I bought some nail polish. I'm thinking I might have my nails painted a ruby red for the wedding. I was going to go for a french polish but I think red will look so beautiful against my dress.

This is what I wore to work today. Decided to go a little simple and basic today, plus I was a little lazy to do my hair this morning. I got these jeans from work last week and I haven't stopped wearing them. They are very comfortable and I love the rips in them. I am considering of buying another pair.

Thank you once again for the lovely comments about our wedding ceremony place. Ben and I are both Catholic and we both wanted to get married in a church but it's way too beautiful than a church! Still can't believe it's 9 weeks togo. It hasn't really sunken in...obviously as it gets closer it will.

And yes, I will be sharing my wedding photos with all my lovely readers!

Thank you to everyone that left lovely comments about my previous post. Considering I felt like poo yesterday, and still do your comments made me feel a little better. I used to wear alot of bright colours, then all of the sudden I just started wearing black all the time! People asked me if I was a hairdresser.

Anyway, no outfit post today as I feel and look like poo. I had the day off and had to drive up the coast all by my lonesome to do wedding stuff. It's 9 weeks until Ben and I tie the knot. Eeeekkk! I went to check out the ceremony place as I had time to kill. It's called the Green Cathedral.

Walking down there I wasn't emotional. I know on the day I will be. Every time I listen to the three songs I'm trying to pick to walk down the aisle I get so teary and start crying.

Here is all the management team...including MOI! The AWESOME FOURSOME! I love this photo because I'm laughing, I'm always laughing. Sorry for the poor quality photos, we got a customer to take photos for us in the store off my iPhone.

Cotton On has a foundation over in Mannya, Uganda where all money raised goes to the little village to help support with health, education, infrastructure and sustainabilityy. Last month over two days we had a massive Charity Day where the theme was School. All our charity products we sold over the two days, all the money raised would help the kids in Mannya get a bus to school or a new orphanage. Here is a photo of three of us in our school theme.

Sunday I finally visited a Rubi Shoe store and found these platform wedges and HAD to get them.

Oh my god! I am in love with them! When I get 50% I couldn't pass. I got them for $20!!!

I know, I REALLY have to stop buying leopard print. But it's just an obsession I have that I just can't shake.

Goodbye PipCQ....

Last week I made a hard decision to close down my Etsy and Made It online stores. I started PipCQ Designs as my plan after I got married was to start a family. I created PipCQ so I could work from home. In may this year I got a full time job. Within five weeks into the job I got promoted. I love my job so much, I haven't felt this happy in a long time. My main focus is my job and my selfish ways. Starting a family has taken a back seat now. I am really enjoying life, I feel it's only getting better now and I'm 28. ALot of people my age are having children, but to me it seems so far away now. I feel I have so much more to see and do in my life. I know people say you can do all these things with children but at the moment the main person in my life that's important is MYSELF! Oh and of course the husband to be :)

I was hoping to start a Millinery course this year but I hadn't saved enough money to pay for the course. Now with a full time job I will be able to afford this course next year. So don't worry more creative pieces will be coming this way again.

I've been searching online for some cossies to wear to Thailand and my honeymoon. The Tigerlilly ones I bought aren't so ideal. I think I will stay away from strapless bikinis. Here's one I've fell in love with. A local surf shop has this bikini but not in my size. I tried the size 8 (wishful thinking) and it was a little too small.

Geometric Four eyes

Tomorrow I am heading to OPSM to get my eyes tested and get some brand new glasses. They have a buy one pair get the second pair half price. I have already found one pair I am definitely buying. Their Ray Bans.

The second pair I'll buy will be a simple pair for my wedding day. I've decided to stay with plastic frames. TO go back to metal would be silly. Plastic suits me much more. I have no idea what other pair I am going to get. Finding glasses can sometimes be fun and exciting. Other times it can be depressing and time consuming. Fingers crossed I'm not in there for too long.

Today I purchased a beautiful maxi dress online for only $29.00! It is 100% silk and was originally $125!

I have a wedding to go to in October so I'll be wearing this number to it. I prefer to wear prints to a wedding. I also have this horrible thought of turning up to a wedding in the same colour as the bridesmaids. Silly I know! But I've had a few people ask me what colour my bridesmaids are so they don't wear the same colour.

WOW! I haven't posted for 2 weeks. That's pretty huge for me. Time flies when you're having fun. I guess I better show you some photos to make up for lost time....2 weeks, sheesh.

This outfit is from the other week. I had all intentions to blog as I of course took a photo of my outfit. I now have four of these Maddie Mullets from work. Their just so comfortable!

Today I went into work and grabbed a few things. Once a month we get uniform deals. They pick certain styles and we get them for a really great price. Better then our 50% deal.

For the both it was $15! Sorry for the poor quality photo of the skirt. I took so many and I couldn't get a good one. I also got this dress to wear whilst I'm Thailand for a girls trip/my hens in 50 sleeps!!!

AND I've bought some heels from work as well. We're going to have a heel day where everyone at work has to wear heels. Should be fun!

I haven't worn any of them yet. Can't wait to eventually wear them. Well that's me for now, I shall be back... I swear!

This was my outfit I wore to work today. I have three of these Maddie Mullet tops in different prints. They've been out for a while and I wasn't too sure about them as they don't look very nice on the hanger. But trust me they are the most comfortable top I have worn.

Today I picked up from the post office my parcel that I ordered off Ozsale.com.au. I bought a Tigerlilly bikini and hat.

I decided on a strapless bikini to wear while in Thailand for my hens party. I don't think bikini straps sun tan will look nice on my wedding day. After trying the bikini on, I don't really like how your boobs look in a strapless bikini top. Squashes them down, but hey at least I won't get sun tan marks. My hat got crumpled in the post though :(

Today was a super casual outfit to wear to work. All I wanted to do was wear my leopard print shoes! I have a super busy week at work this week. So I am hoping it goes very quick. Ben and I are heading to Sydney this Friday to see Wu-Tang Clan. A friend bought us tickets as our wedding present, so I'm kinda glad we don't have to pay for them.

Shoe Fetish

Well it's been over a week since I've posted. I'm hoping I have my blogging mojo back. Over the week I have bought three pairs of shoes from work, and two of them have been heels!

I bought the wedges to wear last night as I was heading out in Sydney but didn't end up wearing them. So I'm looking forward to a night where I can finally wear them. The leopard print flats are soooo comfy. I think I am going to wear pointy flats from now on. They don't seem to hurt your big toe as much as you have more room for your toes. The heel boots I haven't had a chance to wear either. I am in serious need of my flat knee boots as my RMK ones are starting to fall apart inside. I've had them for about 4 years. They have definitely seen some sights in that time.

Last weekend Ben and I went to Newcastle to catch up with some friends. We were only suppose to stay for the Friday night, but some how we ended up for dinner. then I knew another friend was at another pub just down the road so I thought we better go see him just for a 'quick' drink. Quick drink ended up turning into a massive night, getting home at 4:30am Sunday and finding out Amy Winehouse had died. So we stayed up all morning and listening to her albums.

Anyway...as I am getting off track. I took my girlfriend Amy into this store called Typo. Which is apart of the the Cotton On and I have unlimited 50% discounts. It's a fun and quirky little stationery store. We both could of went mental in there but we were on a budget. This what I got.

Ben thinks I've gone NUTS with tights. I haven't been proper clothes shopping for a while. I looked in Dotti today and just wasn't feeling it. I think maybe because I work in a clothing store, and I honestly couldn't be bothered shopping. I'm surrounded by clothes all day I guess...plus I get 50% and I just can't justify paying full price on clothes now...hehehe.

I am really hoping I'm going through ANOTHER phase. But I have once again lost my blogging mojo. Maybe it's because it's Winter? Or maybe because I've finally found something I love that takes up my time now. Which is my job. I haven't loved a job like this EVER! I have liked most of my jobs, but not like this. So I apologise for the lack of posts and lack of reading all my favourite blogs. It's getting to the point where I have to set an alarm to remind me to take photos of my outfit. Today was my day off YAY! This is what I wore when I went to the shops this morning. This cardi is so warm. I decided to go matching with red shoes and scarf. I honestly don't have much to say as all I did was clean, cook, downloading music off iTunes and clean..blah blah blah.

Oh, I actually do have one thing to say. Today is exactly FOUR MONTHS until we get married! O.M.G! We really have to knuckle down and start saving more. I really need to stop spending and only give myself a certain amount of money to spend on clothes. Might have to set myself a challenge soon. What do you think? Challenge time???

This is what I wore to work today. Pretty casual but comfy. I had more photos but I just wasn't happy with them. I took these when I got home this afternoon. I normally have to set an alarm on my phone to remind me. How terrible is that? It took me hours to get warm today at work. But once I got moving I was warm.

How was everyone's weekend? Ben and I spent Saturday catching up with family and friends we hadn't seen in FOREVER! We went to see a jeweller who makes jewellery from home, at cost price. He designed a wedding for me. I decided on a band with four little diamonds. I didn't want too much bling as the engagement ring is the main focus. SO I am without engagement ring for 5 weeks as he's polishing it, and making the wedding band. I am a single woman for 5 weeks :)

I've bought a few things over the the past week from..you guessed it, work (Cotton On). Being management we got 50% off 20 items a month. The casuals only got 30% off. But they changed the discounts last week so casuals could have 50% off as well. People who are managers get 25 items a month now. Here are a few things I've bought:

I've been looking for a warm cardi. Found this drapey cardi, it's nice and warm.

This is called a Maddie Mullet. It looks horrible on the hanger, but once it's on it's so comfortable. ALot of girls have been wearing them with a short body con skirt. I didn't think I could pull it off but I wore a black Maddie Mullet and a leopard print body con skirt on Friday. But I might wear this Maddie with some jeans or tights as it's very long at the back.

I got promoted at work yesterday! All my hard work really did pay off. I was Manager in Training, but I have now stepped up to 2IC. Which is second in charge/Assistant manager. So now one of the casuals will take my position. So hence the massive smile in my outfit post.

This outfit post is for Vix as she asked to post up when I when my culottes from work. I bought another pair yesterday in a different pattern. It's been so windy here, that a dress just doesn't cut it. Culottes are PERFECT! No blowing up of the skirt/dress here peoples!

So, I've been kinda M.I.A for a week or so. Had the most stressful week at work last week. But everythings slowly going back to normal so I hope to be back on the blogging side of things again. I had today off and I spent up a STORM at work. Oops. the joys of having 50% off and plus all the markdowns on other stock.

There are five brands in my store....I bouht from every brand today, besides the kids section. So, here we go.

I think Blue is my new black..what do you think? I wore this yesterday on my day off. I always wanted to wear red socks with this outfit, and yesterday I did. Then matched it with my red scarf from work. All winter you'll be seeing either two types of boots. These one or my RMK ones in my previous post. I am a strong believer in when your feet are warm, the rest of your body is warm. I feel the cold so much when I wear ballet flats. I think I might invest in some new shoes from work.

Today I had off as well. I had my first fitting of my wedding dress. EXCITEMENT! Wasn't really exciting as it's only a mock of the dress so my dress maker can fit it to my body. But I go back next week for my second fitting and this time there will be boning in the dress.

Life is still amazing, work doesn't even feel like work. My day goes so quick and I haven;t come home cranky yet if I'm home late. As I Always stay back at work as I want to make a good impression and work my way up to Second In Charge. Which I think is on the cards! YAY!

Winter Layering

Still not coping with this full time work and blogging. This was an outfit from last week! That's how behind I am. I am in the prcoess of growing my hair for my wedding. Nothing major, just so I have a little length so something can actually be done with it. Hence the beanie. With it being winter, it's cold and windy. My hair is all over the place by the time I get in doors. So a beanie is solving that problem. But not all beanies how with all outfits.

If you haven't already guessed it's winter here in Australia. Winter for me means layering. I have a wardrobe filled with dresses, which in this case I have to layer and layer. A simple long sleeve top, tights or stockings, cardigan or jacket and some boots and I'm set. I've now been buying 120 Denier black opaque tights. Their the right thickness that you can't see your skin through the stockings and they keep you warm. I have noticed a big difference in these tights then just your usual 60-80 denier tights. I feel more confident in 120 denier tights when wearing a short dress now. Don't get me wrong I love fabric tights, but I am forever pulling them up all day as I find they stretch alot more then opaque tights. Do you prefer stocking tights or fabric tights?

Hello my pretties! Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been trying to catch up on my favourite blogs today, and thought I'd do a quick post here. We officially opened the Mega Cotton On in my home town yesterday and it was a HUGE success. Hence no posts at all this week, been busy helping with the set up with the store. I had today off and I have to manage the store by myself without the store manager. But I have all my casuals so I think I'll be fine. Life is really good at the moment. I'm loving where I'm at and where life is taking me. This so far has been the best year of my LIFE! Fingers crossed I'll have a outfit post with my cool Cotton On clothes :) Everything is so cheap and fits within my budget! YAY!

I didn't really like it when I took it home and tried it on. But this morning, I was desperate and rummaged through my wardrobe and knew I would be able to wear it this winter.

I get to see everything from the start, and help with the opening and setting up of the store. Posts for the next week or so will be limited but I'm trying to get as many posts in as I can.

This is what I wore on Wednesday. Blogger was being a poo head and these photos weren't showing in my photo folder when trying upload from blogger. Then the next two days Blogger decided to be 'unavailable'. I had the day off on Wednesday and did a few errands around town nothing major. I had been in trackies and jumpers the last two days so I wanted to feel nice and make an effort. I got a little lazy since I started working at the pub and couldnb't be bothered with clothes. Today was my last shift at the pub. I am a little sad, but tomorrow is the start to a whole new exciting part of my life. And I am so ready for this!

Hey peeps! Guess what? I got the Manager in Training position at the mega Cotton On opening in my home town! The last week has been the most stressful week of my life. Which in fact I have myself to blame. Ben says I like to stress. Maybe deep down I do, it keeps be busy that's for sure. I start this Monday, got three days of intense theory with the state trainer. Then Thursday and Friday I get to work at Cotton On and Cotton On Body at Maitland. Then the next week, help set up the shop! WOO HOO! Wedding Underwear

Firstly thank you to everyone for helping me with my outfit for my interview today. I ended up with the flats. Interview went well. I find out early next week. The store manager has been filled so their now hiring for second in charge and manager in training. So it's up to them what position I'll be picked for.... Fingers crossed I get picked.

After my interview I went to Bras and Things to take a look at some wedding underwear. Plus I wanted to get re sized. I've gone form a 10C to a 10D! Eeeekk. But the bras feel way more comfortable now. Here's what I picked for my wedding day.

Then I saw a 2 for $40 rack for bras and then 2 for $20 for the matching briefs and g-strings. So I got these two as well. I'm normally a boring and plain type of girl when it comes to bras. But this time round I decided to buy some coloured ones.

Decided to get g-string for one and briefs for the other one. I think Ben will be happy with this purchase. Any of you Aussie readers out there definitely head to Bras and Things if you need to be measured. They were so lovely and very helpful in there. One sales assistant measured me up and checked every bra I tried on.

HELP! I have once AGAIN, ANOTHER job interview. A mega Cotton On store is opening in my town with Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Cotton On Kids, Rubi Shoes and Typo. My interview is for the management team. Now I really need to make a awesome impression at the interview tomorrow. If I don't get this job, then I really am no hoper. Like really! I have over 10 years experience in retail, I have fashion industry experience and management experience. Don't mean to toot my own horn... but TOOT TOOT! Anyway, so I've picked a dress to wear but I don't know what shoes to wear. I was told to dress neat casual as you would if you were working in store. Let me know what you think.

I was looking through photos on my facebook today and found this picture. Makes me smile and laugh. Look at my Mum's glasses... WOAH!! I don't even remember how old I am here. But I do remember my dress being really itchy and crying to my Mum. Deirdre and Siobhan are like sisters to me. Since being the only child, these two girls felt like sisters. We have so many fun memories from when we were growing up. Siobhan was the one who suggested I start my own blog.. and I'm like " Blog? What's a blog?"

I have one more shift tomorrow and I have four days off! Got wedding stuff to do Friday then The Gumball festival. Lots of drinking and dancing for me all weekend.

Happy Easter to you all!! This morning there was a bunny rabbit in my yard... no word of a lie!!

Sorry for the poor quality photo. It was taken on my iphone. The people that live behind us have a shit load of animals and every now and then there's one-two bunnies in our yard as they sneak under our fence.

So seeing him was a nice little surprise on Easter Sunday. When I was little I had a rabbit and ever Easter my parents planted all my Easter eggs with my rabbit. Makes me miss being a little girl.

I'm off to bed as it's ANZAC day tomorrow. It's the biggest day of the year for pubs, clubs and bars all over Australia and I have to work for it :( The one day Aussies play 2UP..... I'll get into it more tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Easter! Ben and I are working all weekend... BOO! I went grocery shopping this morning and decided to buy Ben and I some Easter eggs. Even though Ben doesn't like chocolate, I'll eat his.
Slow cooking Massamam Beef Curry. Ben is night shift all weekend so I try to be so so quiet so cooking in the slow cooker is the easiest and safer option.
I went through my bag and these are all the lip balms/lip glosses I have. I don't think I'll be buying anymore for a while.
Morning tea had a cup of tea and a hot cross bun.

I better purchase some sneakers quick smart because between May - November Ben and I have to STOP going out, spending money (especially me) and saving for this god dam wedding!!! It's going to be hard. Over the weekend I'm going to do a clean out of my wardrobe and sell unwanted clothes on eBay. Then go through to see what Winter essentials I need. This is going to be the toughest year of my life!!!

Last week I applied for a job as a Sales Support Administrator at a company that makes and distribute cloth nappies for babies. When I worked in Sydney in the Fashion Industry this was my last role. Since leaving Sydney in 2005 I haven't had the chance to work back in the industry as there isn't any jobs here in the Hunter Valley. But I stumbled across this job by accident, applied for it last Tuesday and got a phone call on Monday lunch time. I normally get really nervous about interviews, but this one I'm not as nervous. I really REALLY want this job!

I spent an hour (that's long for me) shopping trying to find a dress or a top to wear to the interview but I couldn't find anything. So I had to find something to wear from my wardrobe. So I've decided on a purple top, black pants and black heels. I'll post up a picture tomorrow on my blog for you all.

In other exciting news, we purchased a iMac on Tuesday. On Monday we visited Ben's sister as she just had her second baby. Her husband and her bought an iMac as well and Ben was sold on it. That night Ben said we should drive back to Newcastle and buy one. We really needed a new computer as our previous PC is five years old and super slow. I was a little naughty and said "Why don't we take money out of the wedding account to buy one?". For once Ben actually agreed, and here I am typing away on my new iMac on the super cool wireless keyboard.

It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to even save the photo onto the computer..... I need a iMac manual for dummies.

DO you have an Apple computer? I feel like a Apple Arsehole with my iPod, iPhone and now iMac. And this is coming from someone that was against iPods. Oh, technology you always grab a hold of me!

In three weeks I'll be attending a local festival called The Gum Ball which one of our very good friends organises. It's a two day camping festival out in the bush, it's very children friendly and major bonus it's BYO!! But of course no glass is allowed. Ben and I go every year... we pretty much have to go to support our friend Matty and because it's so much fun as well that we want to go. I never used to be a camping girl, I am still a princess and have to shower, bring my wet ones to constantly clean my hands, wear layers of layers of clothes and wear fresh clean socks to bed.

As you can see I used a few items again. Ben makes me pack light whenever we go camping. But most of the time I always chuck in extra long sleeve tops, another jacket and another pair of normal boots. But gum boots or wellies are mainly worn as it's always muddy at Gum Ball.On the Saturday of the festival they have a Op Shop Bop where you wear your best Op Shop Clothes and they crown the King and Queen of the Op Shop Bop for the day. Winners win a double free pass to next years festival. I'm going to make sure Ben and I buy something this year for the Op Shop Bop. Op shop is like second hand or charity stores.

Also I used all Australian brands in my Polyvore too. Need to show more Australian brands for my oversea readers.

It's my Friday today! After working six days in a row I have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off. And I'm spending it all with my Benny.

Manikinn have asked me to show their new and upcoming Winter 2011 collection. I have purchased off Manikinn and they have awesome oversized tees. Their Winter range includes baggy over sized jumpers and 100% cotton tote bags. The collection is available online 1st May.

Manikinn is an Australian brand based in Western Australia. I had never heard of them until I saw them on another fellow Australian blogger. I think I will be purchasing a baggy jumper for winter this year.

Wedding Favours

If you've followed my blog for a while, you probably have realised I go to ALOT of weddings. My friends all decided to get married all at once. But I do love weddings. Finding the perfect frock, shoes, and bag. Catching up with school friends, eating, drinking and dancing the night away. Since I've been to a few weddings it has given me inspiration. Inspiration on what NOT to do. I want my wedding to of course be different and unique to the last wedding I went to.

This post is about wedding favours for your guests. It's nice to get a little gift from the Bride and Groom to say thank you for coming and celebrating this special day with us. Out of the many weddings I've been to there were only two that had great favours that have stuck in my head. The one we went to Byron Bay we got given rubber bands to wear that had the wedding theme on it and the date. Ben and I still wear ours now. And another wedding we got beer coolers... A must for beer drinkers like Ben and I.

Of course being me, I had to have something no one else had done yet. In one of my previous post we've decided to do a Lolly Bar. I have changed my colour scheme for the wedding. Well not so much change I have added more colours. Red is my main colour but I am adding pink and white as well. I'll be having red, red and white lollies at the lolly buffet.

I was going to use white little noodle boxes so guests could use them to fill them up. But I've decided to get little pink paper bags. I am decorating the bag with this little sticker that I got customised on Etsy.

How cute is it? I showed Ben last night, he wasn't impressed with the moustache as he has a beard.

Stripes with Spots

I wore this last week and had every intention to post it up LAST WEEK but of course I was too lazy. Last Thursday it was a little cool so I put on my spotty tights I got from Sportsgirl while I was away on holidays. I've already got a ladder in them :( But oh well.

Here are a couple of things I got while I was away.

A girl I used to study Fashion with at TAFE has her own store in Coffs Harbour. So I visited her cute little store. The skirt is sample she made, it doesn't really suit me but I still bought it. I loved this "Baking is sexy" tee as well.

I got this super cute bag from Sportsgirl. I can hardly fit my iPhone it so I don't think I'll even use it. How pathetic am I? I can't leave the house without my phone!

Back to Reality

Yesterday got back from our short trip away. Of course I didn't take much photos. The wedding we went to was so much fun and I pretty much danced all night to all the corny and fun music on the jukebox.

This is Ben and I at the wedding. We had to buy Ben some new black pants because his normal ones are a little too tight now. We've both put on weight so we both started a healthy Low GI eating plan now. It's not a diet it's just a new and improved healthy way to life... gee whiz, listen to me. It's only Day 1 but I'm doing OK.

I bought a few things while I was away so I'll post them up hopefully tomorrow for you all.

Today is our last day of our short trip. Below is a picture of Boomerang Beach at Pacific Palms. We stopped through to meet up with the decorator for the wedding and the owners of the Surf Club didn't turn up :( oh well another excuse to come back up.

Tonight I am heading on my holidays to Coffs Harbour for once again another wedding. I don't really have much to blog about today. So I'll leave you a couple photos of Coffs Harbour.

The Big Banana! I remember going to the Big Banana when I was little with my parents. I want to go again, Ben thinks I'm silly for wanting to go. I love doing kiddy things.

This is the resort we are staying at. Right on the beach...LOVELY! the wedding is at the resort too. Ben and I only booked the basic room, but then we got upgraded to a bigger and better room for FREE!

Shopping Spree!

Yesterday I spent the whole day shopping with my friend Corrine. We had so much fun. We both live in the same town, and not very far from each other and we haven't seen each other in over a month. And that's LONG for us. You know how you have those friends who you know if you haven't spoken or seen them in ages you can just pick up from where you left off? That's what I have with Corrine. I don't have that with many friends. Only my besties, Stefanie, Amy, Corrine and some girls from school. Anyway, back to the shopping. I went a little... ah CRAZY! BUT, I didn't buy ONE dress. You should be so proud of me.

Dress: Dotti (got sooo many comments on this dress whilst shopping)

I got some gold jewellery (obviously not real gold) from Lovisa which is a jewellery/accessory store. I could spend HOURS in these kind of stores.

Above are some black patent heels from Betts Shoes. They aren't too high or too low, just the right heel for me. They have a special soft cushion feel too. The deal in the store was buy one get second item half price. SO the sales assistant suggested I get a matching bag! Which is below.

In Newcastle there is a Wanted Shoe factory outlet. the silver flats were $20 and the Gold sandals were $10!

Then went to Just Jeans and got two tops for $40

Still in Just Jeans, and grabbed some Rider jeans. There's these new type of jeans called second skin in the store. Looks like a jean, but as comfortable as wearing leggings. So I decided to get them in black.

Saw this cute top at Valleygirl for only $14.95! BARGAIN! I loved the lace at he back of the top.

So, I think that's me for a while at shopping. Time to be a tight arse and SAVE SAVE SAVE for this wedding!

You look like a Witch!

"I'm not sure about those shoes matey!"

That's what Ben said to me last Thursday after we went to Chemical Brothers. We were in the lift so I could get a cab home. I said to him why? He said:

"you look like a witch!". Gee, thanks Ben. I'm glad he never said anything before we left for the gig because I would of been so annoyed. I like them, and that's all that matters. Men just don't get fashion do they. So today, I decided to wear my "Witch" boots.

It rained all morning so boots were perfect for this weather. Now to sun is back and it's muggy :(

Come back rain please!!! I love the sound of rain when in bed.

Outfit Post...long overdue

Think it's time to do an outfit post. I wore this to my last shift EVER at the baby shop :( It will be closing down this week.

Dress is form Dotti. Ah good old Dotti hey. This bad boy cost me $79.95! Extreme I know! I don't understand why Dotti is so expensive for what it is. Plus, I still bought the dam thing too. I bought another super cute dress from Dotti that I'll probably wear on Friday when I go on a girly shopping day to Newcastle with one of my besties Corrine.

It's been raining this afternoon. I love the smell of rain. I can't wait to wear layers of clothes, jeans with boots, dresses with tights and ankle boots. I can't wait for festivals where you camp, and drink by the fire, then dance like a lunatic so you get warm! I think because Summer is so long here, I am enjoying winter now.

Today I have been researching some decorations for my red themed wedding. My theme is Japanese with red butterflies. At the reception I am going to hang red lanterns from the roof. I'm been having a sticky beak on Google images, here are a few I have been inspired with.

Today I purchased these.

I purchased the plain red one in three different sizes.

I got myself a red fabric parasol for the photos as well. If I like the look of it, I'm going to buy a white one for my bridesmaid Stefanie.

Also, for wedding favours for our guests I've decided to have a lolly bar. We'll set up different sized glass jars and vases, fill them up with red lollies. We'll give guests a little noodle box and they can take them home with them.

Exactly 8 months today till the big day!!!

These boots are made for dancing!

Picked up these boots today from another local store in town. Their Windsor Smith and I am in love with them.

I love how I can wear them two different ways. Fold them up, or fold them down. I'm seeing Chemical Brothers next Thursday in Sydney so I'll have to test them out then. I'll be dancing like a demon!

This weekend I finally have the whole weekend off and I get to spend it with Ben. Here are a few things I am looking forward to this weekend.

Ben hopefully, fingers crossed sells his car to a guy on Saturday. It will help us fund some of the wedding!

Don't worry, this is not my dress. It's by the same Fashion Designer Oscar de le Renta. I have found a dress from his 2010 collection and I'm getting it made.

Getting dressed up on Saturday night and going out for Ben's cousin 40th at Nelsons Bay.

I've been searching for a different and unique dress to wear to a wedding in the next couple of weeks. Living in such a small town, I always worry turning up to a party or a wedding wearing the same dress as someone. I ended up finding this gorgeous dress off eBay .

I picked it up from the post office today. I raced home, and tried in on. I am in love with it and I feel so pretty and girly in it. Excuse the messy hair and no make up.

It's by the lovely HARAH DESIGNS. I actually purchased mine off eBay. I wasn't sure what size to get so I gave Maria my measurements to see which one would suit better and she sewed a made to measure for me! I was very pleased. The quality of the garment is unbelievable, the sewing is amazing. Since studying Fashion I am always looking at the quality of all garments. I'm already thinking of buying another dress. I'm thinking about getting maxi, in blue.

The plus side, it's made in Australia!

Also today I picked up a layby from my favourite shop in town Milk. I originally had one of these two dresses to wear to this wedding.

The top two are both Cooper St. I might return the black one. It's a little too short for me.

This dress I fell in love with and actually bought this two weeks ago from Glue. The brand is Anise. The collar is actually detachable and it comes with straps as well. I'm seeing Chemical Brothers next week and was thinking of wearing it then.

So theres a bit of dress overload for you. today is the second day of Autumn *insert sad face*. But I think I'm half glad it's going to be little cooler. I think I'm going crazy!

UK Readers... HELP!

Hello ladies!.. especially UK readers. I am searching for a dress to wear to a wedding and I wanted to treat myself and buy something off ASOS. Plus I have a major fear of turning up to a wedding wearing the same dress. Yes, I am vain I know! I have my eyes set on this dress.

Now, obviously UK sizing is different to Australian sizing. I am normally a size 8 which is the second smallest size as size 6 being the smallest. What size do you recommend for me? ASOS suggested I get a size UK 10 or UK 12???

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I promise to catch up on everyones blogs this week too.

In the Summer Time.....

2threads and Billabong have asked me to do a post on what beach fashion means to me. So I've taken a photo of myself as if I was going to the beach... I wish I was! I try to be pretty laid back and not to bring too much with me to the beach. the most important thing I take is sunscreen. When your with a very pale man, sunscreen is a must. I used to laugh and say "I don't need sunscreen!" and the day I said that I got extremely burnt. So I slip, slop, slap every time I go to the beach. The bikini I am wearing is Billabong and most of my swimmers are Billabong. I've had these swimmers for a while now and should really update them. I'm pretty picky when it comes to swimmers so that's why I've stuck with these for so long. Hat is another important item for me as I have short hair. I'm not lucky like most girls with long hair and can't tie my hair in a pony tail. SO hats are perfect for me. i recently purchased this beach chair late last year and it's the BEST!!! It has a little pocket so I can put my sunscreen and any other essentials. And last but not least, it wouldn't be a Aussie summer without a beer.

Why hello lovelies! I've been slack once again. Since my job has a uniform I don't really have much outfit posts to show you... BUT today I do. I found this gorgeous Sunny girl maxi dress in a local store. This will be first EVER causal maxi dress. The other two I own are more dressy maxi's I've worn to weddings. I don't own much blue on my wardrobe, but after the sales assistant and another customer seeing me in the dress they said I really suit blue. Mmmmmm.

I feel very lady like and grown up in this dress so some reason!

Tonight I am off to my best friends place Stef's for a farewell party for your friend Jackie. It's going to be a big night and I get to catch up with all the girls. I have to work Sunday morning too... OUCH! Plus we're discussing my hen's trip to Thailand before the party too. YAY!!

HEAT WAVE!

Hi everyone! Firstly thank you to EVERYONE that wished me Happy Birthday! I had a amazing day with Ben. He cooked me breakfast and we made fresh orange juice on the pimped out juicer he got me for my birthday. In the evening I went to see Carl Barron, a hilarious Australian comedian. I almost peed my pants, but I did do the loudest snort EVER! My friends could not stop laughing.Also, two of ours welcomed a baby boy on the same birthday as me. Meet Taylor

I apologise for the lack of posts. Australia is having a extreme heat wave and honestly, blogging is the last thing on my mind. It's way too hot to sit at the computer and outfit posts are NOT on my agenda. It's 8:30 in the morning here. I decided to get up early so I could clean my house, but it's 32 degrees already! When I knocked off work last night I got home at 9:30pm, it was still 35 degrees. UK readers, you DO not wish you were in this heat. I think you guys are so used to it being cold, I honestly think you would want to die, it's that hot! Starting Monday it's forecast to be under 30 degrees so I am happy with that!

Hopefully normal posting will resume then.

Today is the best day EVER! It's my birthday! And yes I am 28. I certainly don't feel 28 that's for sure!! I just found out one of our friends had a baby boy this morning so we share the same birthday too.

Today Ben is going to cook me breakfast. He is still in bed and I'm starving! Hopefully go see our new born friend Taylor. Then we're heading to Cessnock tonight to see a Australian comedian Carl Barron. I love laughing and going to comedy shows is what I wished we did more.

It's forecast to be another HOT day..... I'm melting!

A few posts ago I told you about the cool application for iPhones I found called Retro Camera... well I've found an even better application. It's called Instagram and you can share your photos on Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, and Facebook. You set up an account and then upload photos from your camera roll on your iPhone or take your own photos. It's kinda like Twitter actually.... I'm even thinking of crumbling and joining Twitter... only for my blogs sake of course :)

Australia Day

Yes, I'm a little slow on the Australia Day photos. I didn't take as many as I wanted to.. it was 43 degrees so we were in and out of the pool all day and night.

So yes, once again I found some bargains today. First I'll start off with an outfit I wore today. I wore my All About Eve studded dress today.

I worked today at a local store called Milk. The lady who owns it is good friends with my sister in law who I also work for. My hours have been cut back, hence they pub job and whenever Amy is stuck she gives me a call. I love working in there because I pretty much just shop for the whole day.

I upgraded my iPhone to the iPhone 4 and I found this really cool application called Retro Camera. I took a few photos of the store using the application.

At the store there is a $15 sale rack and I found these two bargains.

Got this Ladakh blazer. It will be perfect for winter. Original price was $110!!!

All About Eve Dress which was originally $69.95. I'm going to wear this tomorrow at my best friends Australia Day/Hottest 100 party.

Whenever you work at Milk you get a 50% one item per shift. New stock came in today and fell in love with this Ladakh dress.

I got this dress for $35.00 with the 50% discount.

So far, I've pretty good with purchasing clothes this year. Everything has been under $50 and I think I'll stick with that figure, just to stay on the safe side and save for our wedding.

Tomorrow is Australia Day and most people (well the cool people in Australia that listen to cool music and not commercial rubbish) listen to Triple J's hottest 100. The whole national gets to pick their top 10 songs of 2010 and they count the 100 songs on Australia Day. Alot of people have BBQ's and Ben and I have hosted one for the past two years. But this year my bestie Stef is having it this year. I'm so excited!!!

Had a pretty causal and lazy day, here's what I wore today.

I don't like wearing shorts or pants. I don't think they suit my body type, that's unless I find the right style of course.

Yesterday I made a online purchase on the website Freez and my goodies came today. I got a pair of black pants for work, haven't to bother to show you cause their pretty boring. But I got this cute All About Eve stud dress for only $20!!! It was $79

Today I went into a local store and got this cute Paul Frank nightie for $15

Then today I kept thinking about some other items I saw on Freez and had to get back online and purchase. Maybe an early birthday present for myself! So I got three more All About Eve items today and will receive them early next week.

Yes, yes I know I bought black, but I was thinking for winter and black is well my favourite!

Sick of wedding posts yet?

So, are you? Are you sick of wedding posts yet? It feels like all I'm doing is posting about this god dam wedding!! Thank you for all the comments on saying how organised I am. I'm normally the girl who does her assignment at the last minute... but I think organising a wedding is much more fun.

Angela from My Life Less Ordinary asked if she could see my Save the Dates and invitations. Yes, I am highly organised but I started the invites now to see how they would work out. My main aim is to do 10 invites a week. I have to make 67 invites so it's not really a big work load if you stretch it out. I'm sending out invites with a detailed information sheet about where Pacific Palms is, how to get there, where to stay etc.

Here are my save the date cards.

I have two versions of the save the date cards. I ran out of black card and the black card above is the second batch. The first batch had white paper in the middle not red.

Here are my invitations

Ben doesn't read my blog, but when I tell him what I post he sometimes doesn't approve. Hence why I have blacked out some details. When I showed him the invites he asked where I got the quote from that I put at the bottom of the invite.

"This day I will marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, love"

I think it pretty sums up our relationship. We are both always laughing as Ben is sooo witty and without a doubt makes me laugh everyday.

Bridezilla Sunday

Bridezilla is in the HOUSE! No, only joking.....well my friends think I am a bridezilla. I've decided each week to do a bridezilla post. Just basically on what I am up to with wedding preparations.

Today my girlfriend Corrine came over and help me with the Save the Date cards.

I've started on the invitations already. Yes, I know I'm a little early but because our wedding isn't locally I'm sending out 5-6 months early so people can organise accommodation. Tomorrow Ben and I are heading to Pacific Palms (where we are getting married at) to meet up with a caterer and then we're staying the night at Forster where we'll meet our decorator as well. WE pretty much have to do all the work and organising for our wedding. We have to organise caterer, alcohol, decorations, party hire, transport for guests... there's alot of work involved. But, we looked around the Hunter Valley where we live and I didn't want another typical wedding at the vineyards. So we opted for cocktail wedding near the beach. Which totally suits us as a couple. A formal traditional wedding just wouldn't suit at all.

This is my Hello Kitty folder I put all my information for the wedding. I love pink and Hello Kitty. Gracie from gracie bella butterfly gave me this folder when we were partnered up in a swap together. I love it so much Gracie, it's definitely become handy.

This is my little kit/box I keep all my wedding invitation stuff. If I didn't have this it would be all over my house in a mess.

Well I'm off to cook dinner. Hopefully I'll remember to take photos whilst in Pacific Palms and Forster tomorrow. I haven't seen Ben all weekend, he's been day shift all weekend and I've been doing nights at the pub :( Looking forward to some quality time.

I do not blog anonymously, I don't think I would be able to. I like sharing my thoughts and little bits and pieces of my life.

2. Describe an incident that shows your inner stubborn side.

I have plenty of incidents that I wish not to share. There mostly petty, pathetic and bitchy!

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror?

Most days I am happy. I make an effort with my appearance as I worry people think I am a boy with my short hair. I always wear make up to my pub job as my uniform isn't the most flattering so I make sure I look girly and wear earrings, necklace and make up... Yes I am so vain!

4. What is your favourite summer cold drink?

BEER!

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do?

Lay around and do nothing... watch horrible TV, watch repeats of Sex and the city, Gossip Girl, True blood, Wife Swap... the list goes on.

6. Is there something that you still want to accomplish in your life?

Becoming a mother. I wasn't very close to Mum when I grew up, so I want to make sure I am close to my children and be interested in what they are doing.

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever, the shy person, or always ditching?

I was shy at school, until I got kicked out of the bitch group in my year at school (best move they ever did). I sat with another group where it was a mixture of boys and girls and still to this day we are all still great friends. My boyfriend at the time said to me I had changed since I sat with the new group. He said I was much louder now.

8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what would you see?
I don't think I really have yet. Maybe when Ben's Dad died of cancer in 2001. I wasn't very close to Ben's Dad or knew him that well but I just can't imagine the pain he feels every day that he's Dad is not here.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog, or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people and events?
I find it easy to share my true self on here. I think it's interesting that I share my thoughts to complete strangers from all over the world.

10. If you had the choice to sit down and read a book or talk on the phone, which would you choose and why?

Talk on the phone, I love catching up with friends on the phone. Especially friends I haven't spoken to in ages!

I just wanted to end this post to let people know that I am thinking of everyone in Queensland and the devastating floods that have taken over the state. It's been all over the news and I cry every time I see images of people sitting on their house roofs, people stuck in cars waiting to be rescued. It is such a devastating disaster and my heart goes to anyone that has been affected. Water is expected to rise even higher in the next 2-3 days.

Everyday should be special... wear your special dress or favourite dress, wear your brand new sparkling shoes. I know that I do. I wore my dress that I bought to wear on Christmas day. I got alot of comments even from a little 4 year old girl. As I get older my dresses get longer not shorter.
