so, maybe just ignore my Christmas wish list post. Santa AKA Benjamin, the other half, fiance, partner...Doesn't think a juicer or a hair dyer is a good Christmas present. So I am definitely not getting any of these for Christmas... insert sad face. He said he'll just buy them for me. So, ah buy them for me for Christmas..sheesh. when we were shopping yesterday I was put on the spot asking what else I wanted. I knew I wanted True Blood Season 1 and 2 on DVD so we found the two in a box set together.
I honestly could not think of anything else I wanted besides a juicer and hair dryer.. and new clothes, shoes, make up, accessories the list goes on really.. Ben knows how much I LOVE dresses so he suggested I buy a really nice and expensive dress. I thought what a fab idea and thought of finding a red dress to wear on Christmas Day. We walked EVERYWHERE! Everything was either:
1. Short
2. Skanky
3. Tight
I swear to god everything in all the shops are like this. Maybe I'm getting old but I was not looking for that. Do you know how hard it is to find a red dress that isn't skanky? There was lots of oranges but no red. I wasn't allowed to buy a dress for $50 or less, so you'd think all my Christmases came at once. But no, of course I couldn't find a lovely dress could I. After dragging Ben up and down all the levels we decided to check out a new store in the city part of Newcastle. There was so many cute dresses but of course not in my style but I finally settled on this dress.
It's a Australian label called Shilla and the dress is called the Pop pleat full dress. The fabric is so soft and it has to be dry clean only... Eeek!
I found this dress in the same store but they only had size 6 and 12 left. Wishful thinking about trying the size 6 on.
I am on the BIGGEST MISSION EVER t o find this dress. How CUTE is it?
